The Stone Seed Group is proud to be an independent operating company within American Seeds, Inc.   This affiliation allows us direct access to Monsanto Company's huge pool of genetics, one of the largest in the world. Over any four-year period, what starts out in the breeding process as 80,000 initial crosses is narrowed to about 80 elite hybrids.  From those 80, our group's commercial breeding team with the guidance of the Stone management team selects a handful of these elite hybrids that are truly the best-of-the-best for the growing conditions in our area.
