Numbering System for Traited Products


With the dramatic increase of products containing various traits, we have developed a labeling system to identify hybrids more clearly and efficiently. This system conveys large amounts of information, yet is easy to understand. Traited hybrids released by the Stone Seed Group will be alphanumeric with the trait(s) they contain easily identifiable. The hybrid’s maturity will also be apparent from its name. Listed are the Trait Codes and Maturity Guides. The 1st number in the name corresponds to its maturity. SecureKote Seed Applied Insecticide with Poncho® 250 and Trilex® When you invest in premium germplasm and traits, you deserve to have a premium seed protection package. This is why all Stone Seed Group corn comes with Poncho 250 and Trilex® applied. Extensive testing shows that Trilex is a highly effective fungicide. We use it in conjunction with our regular Maxim Apron package to extend and enhance the fungal efficacy. In over 100 replications of data, adding Trilex adds 422 plants per acre and 5.07 bu/acre of additional yield. This fungicide package, coupled with Poncho 250, creates exceptional early season seed protection. Best of all, SecureKote with Poncho 250 and Trilex is included in all of our pricing.
